Welcome to Aureal Network ("Aureal," "we," "us," or "our"), reachable at aureal.cc and through our Minecraft servers. By connecting to our servers, creating a website account, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Aureal.

1. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use Aureal, and you must comply with Mojang/Microsoft's Minecraft End User License Agreement and Terms of Service. If you are under the age of 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country), you may only use Aureal with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Your Account

Your in-game identity is tied to your Minecraft username and UUID. If you create a website account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Conduct

While using Aureal, you agree not to:

  • Use cheats, hacked clients, exploits, or unfair advantages of any kind;
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other players or staff;
  • Impersonate staff or other players, or attempt to scam other users;
  • Advertise other servers or unrelated services without permission;
  • Attempt to disrupt, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to our servers, website, or other users' accounts;
  • Share or post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience.

4. Moderation

Our staff team may warn, mute, kick, ban, or otherwise restrict any account, at their discretion, for violating these Terms or our in-game rules. Moderation decisions are final, though you're welcome to appeal one through our support channels. We may also remove content (chat messages, forum posts, etc.) that violates these Terms.

5. Store Purchases & Virtual Items

Aureal may offer optional virtual items, ranks, or cosmetics for purchase. These items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, and are non-transferable between accounts. Purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first may result in the affected account being suspended. We reserve the right to modify, rebalance, or discontinue any virtual item at any time.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep Aureal online and your data intact, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Servers may go offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, and we're not liable for any loss of in-game progress, items, or virtual currency resulting from downtime, wipes, or data issues.

7. Intellectual Property

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB / Microsoft. Aureal Network is an independently operated community server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang or Microsoft. All original Aureal branding, plugins, and content are the property of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Aureal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Aureal after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
